Shopping Mindfully

There's lots of vegan products chatter . That's because your choices matter

When you actually stop to think about it, the majority of
food available to us is already vegan anyway (fruit, veg,
beans, grains, nuts, legumes, etc..) and there are a million
great, healthy alternatives to adding meat and animal
      products to your favourite dishes.
That said, we are creatures of habit, and many of us will

always crave those cultural favourites we grew up loving.
Luckily, whether it's fish fingers for the kids, roast turkey
at Christmas, a full English breakfast at the weekend or a
hearty meat & potato pie, the great vegan companies below
make all of them and more. So with all your old favourites
now available cruelty-free, you won't miss out on a thing.

The brands listed below are just a small selection of
        what's
on offer in a constantly expanding market,
and many are also available to buy globally.

Some supermarkets also offer lists of all their vegan products on their websites or via email
as well as now starting to create dedicated vegan sections within their stores.

You'll also find an extensive list of cruelty-free cosmetic products here courtesy of some
 great work from
Cruelty Free Kitty and another similar list here via Ethical Elephant.

survival of life on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet."
